Remember what I said about men? Seriously, do not ask your ex for anything. Next time, if you have to leave the pup behind, board her. I know it's tough, but I had to do it a couple of times. She'll get used to it and you don't have to worry about what the ex will do to her. Remember, he's an ex for a reason-why let him continue to affect your life? Depend on yourself only.
I really don't mean to sound like such a bitch, honestly. I have learned from experience and I hope that I can spare someone else. Please give the pup a big hug for me :-)
